Today we'll move locations, catching a train West to the French capital of Paris. We'll settle into our new hotel and head over to the Arc de Triomphe for sunset. Be sure to take care of some shopping along the nearby Champs-Elysees!
Day five is full of great Parisian experience. We'll start off with a morning visit to The Louvre to beat the crowds. Afterwards, we'll head to the Catacombs for an eery tour of the Paris underground. We'll wrap things up with a walking food tour through Montemarte to Sacre Couers.
We'll start the day by heading outside of the busy Paris city center with a trip to Versailles to explore the beautiful estate. Once you've had your fill here, we'll reconvene in the evening near the Eiffel Tower and ride to the top for amazing sunset views.

Our Northern lights tour with Wes exceeded our expectations! We were fortunate to see the lights on several nights but Norway provided much more than that. We would love to travel with Wes again.
It would’ve taken me weeks to research and plan something like this on my own! I can’t recommend his services and group trips enough.
He also put together a great group of wonderful people whom we still talk to and hope to share another trip together soon. Wes did such a great job and we are forever grateful! Highly recommended!

Other Useful Information (FAQs)
No – all transportation for this tour is included. The tour includes transfers between each destination city. Public transportation is recommended for getting from the airport to our hotel upon arrival.
All of the activities on this tour are classified as easy in terms of difficulty. However, guests should be comfortable walking a few miles or more each day while exploring different cities.
Each day we’ll depart as a group from our hotel to our scheduled destination and activities.
Once our scheduled activities for the day have concluded, everyone is free to explore town on their own or with other travelers they meet during the trip.
My goal is to provide the group with all the benefits of a group tour, while ensuring there’s still ample opportunity for independence, flexibility and some to explore on your own.
There will be ample time after scheduled activities each day to explore town. By spending 3 nights in each location, you won’t feel rushed or like you didn’t have enough time in any destination.
You’re also welcome to forgo any of the scheduled activities to substitute something you’d prefer to do at your own expense. If you elect to do so, just be sure to inform your guide!
While you have the flexibility to do so, rest assured this itinerary will cover the best experiences that each city has to offer. I suggest filling out your remaining time by exploring town, shopping or enjoying local bars and restaurants.
German is the official language of Germany, French is the official language of France and Dutch is the official language of The Netherlands.
Rest assured English is widely spoken in each of these destinations, so you shouldn’t have any issues getting around if you don’t speak the native language.
Restaurants typically have an English version available, while tools like Google Translate go a long way toward bridging any gaps you might experience.
